The Challenge
Waiting time at the baggage belts shapes how arriving passengers remember Terminal 1, and it is hard to measure by hand for more than a few hours.
The Solution
From April to November 2023, Ariadne measured passenger presence and waiting time in the Terminal 1 baggage claim hall.
The Impact
To check the numbers, the team timed passengers at the belts by hand and compared the manual waiting times with Ariadne's. The result was seven months of belt waiting times, checked against manual samples, instead of a few hours of stopwatch data.
